Kinda been bummed out, so I've been wondering... Why not make a(nother) challenge and see if someone...anyone...can remotivate me with their victory. Though sadly, this is something only for Mario Maker 2 players. Couldn't think of anything better.
Complete the level in under 1:10:00, in-game time, and I'll cut my commission prices in half for a month! As well as making art focus a heavy priority.
As the title suggests, this is one of my final 4 levels that I made in Mario Maker 1, recreated in its sequel. Those were meant to be the toughest, but -mostly- fair challenges that I would make for players. Normally, I'd be happy that this was one of my uncleared levels, and it remained that way for over a year...but. Aside from the 7 players, I see that the level has been immensely ignored throughout that year (likely boo'd to death, though I expected this). That said, this is a difficult level and I honestly don't expect the challenge to be complete. Let alone the level itself being finished.
Previous challenge: Finish this level within 4 minutes - Incomplete.
This was by far, the most difficult 3D World themed level I would make yet. Anyone who had completed this challenge would mean that I will unretire from animating. ...but it seems that I'm just talking to the wind. Why do I even bother...?
Can't remember the last time I was active here, apart from short bursts - though I'm certain that there are some who had missed me, maybe. Life's been annoyingly complicated as usual, even more so when I had a job... Some just aren't worth the increasing stress that eventually gave me heartaches and anxiety...I needed to go.
But enough about my pointless venting. Until I find something better (...ha.), I'm getting back into art, once more. Actually, I'm also doing commissions. Seems that DA has a way that I could work with, so it'll take me a while to set up here than anywhere else.
Anywho, depending on how things go, I may either disappear again or actually stick around as I find another means to work. It's hard to say...but I gotta make the most of it before whatever else happens. I worry too much...
At the end of July 2019, I have thought of and created what may be my toughest Mario Maker 2 course yet. And for a good while, I wondered how long it would hold a %0.00 Clear Rate - no soul has cleared this level...except one.
With only 1 clear, and a record of 14+ minutes, very few have bothered to attempt this again.
So I'm sending out a challenge to any Mario Maker 2 players out there. Not just to clear this level, but to also manage under a certain time. Let's say...4 minutes?
Anyone, and I mean ANYONE, who manages to complete this challenge, they will get...
Nothing! :V [Record scratches]
...Ok, ok. I'll make a promise to "un-retire" from animating and become much more productive, this year. Whether they be gifs or videos. (and you can punch me in the face for putting you through all of that.)
Fair warning, though. This is NOT a level for the average player - it requires much of the Mario 3D World techniques and the lot. I'm 98% certain that those who attempt this will hate me.
I'll have a brief example here.

Q: Is this one of those Kaizo levels...?
A: Heck no. I'm not THAT evil.
Q: How hard is the course?
A: The majority couldn't even get past the first screen... I'm pretty sure this course got Boo'd to the point of it floating in the void of nothing.
Q: Do I have to clear it?
A: No, you're free to do as you please. I just wanna see if anyone is determined enough.
Q: May we have hints and tips? A: Of course ~ Ya just gotta ask.
Q: Can I get a skilled player to complete the challenge?
A: Go for it. I won't judge you.
Q: Can I punch your face in now?
A: No. ]:3
Q: Who's this Lorin guy? Where's Riu?
A: Don't worry, it's still me. I just go by Lorin on Switch.
Now then. For anyone, brave and/or bold, I shall post the Course ID here.

Fail...and your soul is mine...! (Not really, I'll just pull back my head and laugh evilly.)
